If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyways.

"The ending was beyond moving"

submission: DARE

It was really awesome but I don't like how it had to involve religion...it's not like I'm against religion; they make great amounts of contributions to society. However it's so stereotypical that people that do good have some sort of religious background. Why do they have to be religious in order to do good?

To me, the flash was amazing until the mother dies and the boy turns towards christianity. I just don't believe fueling a stereotype is a great way to justify the meaning of the song and flash respectively.

Author's Response:

it was more about personal revelation on the individual. What are you talking about stereotypes... everyone has a stereotype...

The man did good things, but he never had a religious background until the end. He wanted more from this life. And that is still a stereotype. :S

Switchfoot are a Christian band. They're a stereotype too :)

Thanks for watching! :D

"I'm not finishing the game..."

date: June 11, 2009

This game is so bull in so many ways. It's absolutely fun at times to play and its spacebar-style playing is very simplistic and deserves great appraise, but the hordes are absolutely annoying. Near the end (at least I think it was...the game itself was a lot longer than I first thought) at the "Gorge of Death," the hordes were absolutely intolerable. Seriously, there isn't enough health or enough witty tactics that's going to get me through the damn level without dying before I get to the boss (and trust me I developed a great number of strategies to deal with those pricks).

Also the bosses are absolutely dreadful. Some should have been reordered whiles others don't even make sense as to why they would be there (although they're all random due to an undeveloped storyline, still...where the hell did the princess with the huge axe come from? Shouldn't there have been a dragon at the mountain location instead?). Not only that, but the order of difficulty in the monsters is messed up. The princess was such a cinch to kill along with the old witch lady with purple fire (which pissed me off btw; her purple fire was menacing to touch and her god damn bombs always STUNNED me in it), but the tentacle boss was so damn frustrating! It was so hard to predict how many strikes it took to kill a tentacle and the shitty part of it was that you had to be faster than the damn things (and that was nearly impossible).

Other than my annoying rant, it's definitely a great game (deserves 8 or 9..maybe 10 stars but I just couldn't handle the hordes anymore). I'm no important person but I never indulged myself in such a long review...I just thought that my input would contribute to the hundreds to help make for a better game, or improve an already great game that is; all games tend to have their...exigencies.

"Fun but honestly, it's annoying to the bone"

submission: Bug War

Great game, fun and enjoyable. However, it's so damn annoying.
1. The upgrades don't seem to be helping me during the game. Do these upgrades take place AFTER the stage or what? I put in +20% strength or speed and it doesn't look at all helpful (it seems like the enemies rape me easier instead).
2. It's a free for all for neutral hives. Why is it that if I put in all the required amount except 1 in a neutral hive, why is it that the enemy can then take it with one easy bug?? It should be whoever has invested into the hive with the required amount fastest.
3. The enemy built towers over mine and it pissed me off because I can't do the same.
4. ....yeah about those upgrades (lol).

Great game, just so much frustration involved.
